About GoldDiggers HQ
A data-driven gold prospecting resource for Western Australia. Built by prospectors, for prospectors.
"Built by prospectors, for prospectors"
Our Mission
GoldDiggers HQ exists to be the most complete, accurate, and data-driven gold prospecting resource for Western Australia. We believe that every prospector, from the weekend hobbyist to the seasoned bush veteran, deserves access to quality information that was previously scattered across government databases, old forums, and word of mouth.
Western Australia produces more gold than most countries. With over 200 tonnes of gold produced annually, WA's goldfields are among the richest on Earth. Yet finding reliable, consolidated information about where to go, what to bring, and how to stay legal has always been surprisingly difficult.
That's why we built GoldDiggers HQ: to put all the information you need in one place, backed by real data from official government sources, and presented in a way that's actually useful in the field.

Accuracy First
We use official government data sources wherever possible. When we use estimates or community data, we say so clearly. We'd rather say "we don't know" than publish inaccurate information.
Respect the Land
We promote responsible prospecting. Fill your holes, respect Aboriginal heritage, follow regulations, and leave the bush better than you found it. The goldfields are a shared resource.
Safety Always
The WA outback is beautiful but dangerous. We emphasise safety in everything we publish because no amount of gold is worth risking your life. If in doubt, don't go out.
Free & Open
GoldDiggers HQ is and will remain free to access. Gold prospecting information shouldn't be locked behind paywalls. We believe open knowledge makes everyone safer and more successful.
